Inside Out: Collection of Ray Griffin and Thom Robinson

Florence County Museum is proud to present Inside Out, an exhibition of works from Asheville, NC collectors, Ray Griffin and Thom Robinson.

This exhibition features contemporary Southern Appalachian art in conjunction and contrast with self-taught “Outsider” art and artists, and their unique position relative to fine art in the American South.

Inside Out also addresses the role of private collecting in the art world, and explores the unique connections and relationships that form between collectors, artists, and art institutions.

Inside Out was on view in the Special Exhibit Gallery from February 20 through July 14, 2024.
