Mornings at the Museum is an interactive program for children ages 3-5 with an accompanying adult. This program is offered from September through May on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The program will include a gallery visit, storytime, and hands-on studio activity.
We will read “Stuck” by Oliver Jeffers in the Special Exhibit Gallery. Your child will learn about kites and the landscape art of Edward Gay from Hartsville. The children will also make kite-themed “stained glass” window decorations using tissue paper in the museum classroom.
The cost is $5 per family attending for nonmuseum members and FREE for museum members.
