Introduction to Acrylic Landscape Painting

Join us for a 6-week Introduction to Landscape Painting Course at the Florence County Museum. Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on activities, Assistant Professor of Fine Arts, Brittany Gilbert will guide you through topics such as simplifying masses, natural lighting conditions and atmospheric perspective. During the second half of the course participants will have the opportunity to receive individualized feedback as they work on a landscape image of their choice. Whether you are a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this course offers a relaxed and supportive environment to explore landscape painting.
