Family Day at the Florence County Museum

From toddlers to grandparents, Family Days at the Florence County Museum are sure to offer something for everyone. Join us the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for Family Day at the FCM. No registration required. Free of charge.

As spring arrives and seeds begin to sprout, you can get creative! Create characters that will grow crazy plant hair! Participants will design their own character and embed grass seed that will grow into the character’s hair.

Spring is the perfect time to create outdoors! Making your own sidewalk chalk for outdoor art is simple and fun. Participants will mix and mold their own sidewalk chalk to use at home.

Koinobori Windsock

Spring breezes make these traditional Japanese windsocks come to life. Participants will create a colorful carp windsock for home display
